Canada Connects pairs individuals or families with a community volunteer(opens in new tab) who provides guidance and support throughout the program. This initiative helps newcomers learn about local culture, resources and opportunities while building confidence and meaningful connections. By meeting weekly with a volunteer, participants can practice English, explore local life and strengthen their integration into the community.

• Practice real-life conversational English
• Participate in cultural and recreational events
